Apprenticeships
The Windsor Group has access to a substantial amount of Government funding for Apprenticeship training.
Apprenticeships bring considerable value to organisations, employers, individuals and the economy. Businesses across the country are now increasingly realising the enormous benefits that Apprenticeships create, not only in terms of a highly skilled workforce but also by boosting productivity and staff retention.
Research undertaken by the National Apprenticeships Service (NAS) shows that Apprenticeships are optimal ways of training, developing and upskilling people for the future, helping businesses secure a supply of people with the skills and qualities they need and which are not always available on the external job market.
We know employers directly benefit from these highly trained apprentices. The overwhelmingly positive results we have seen demonstrate how important it is for us to ensure that The Windsor Group maintains and builds this important programme.
We offer a wide range of Apprenticeship Frameworks delivered by ourselves and a network of specialist training partners.
We are continuously seeking to offer a more flexible, less bureaucratic approach to all types of Government funded provision and provide the best advice possible to employers seeking to take increased ownership of their training strategies.
What are Apprenticeships?
They are work-based training programmes designed around the needs of employers, which lead to nationally recognised qualifications. You can use Apprenticeships to train both new and existing employees. Funding is available to train apprentices.
Apprenticeships are designed by the Sector Ski9lls Councils, while the National Apprenticeship Service helps to fund the training. Business representatives from the relevant industry sector work with the Sector Skills Councils to develop the course content. Because they genuinely understand your business, the training will be relevant for your industry.
Depending on the sector and job role an Apprenticeship can take anything between one and four years to complete. It is a package of on-the-job training and qualifications.
